Rehabilitation

Studies show that most biomechanical injuries heal at a faster rate if they are treated with active as well as passive care. Passive care is any treatment that the physician provides without the active participation of the patient. Active care is a treatment that the patient actively participates in with the provider or performs by him or herself eg. rehabilitation.

As part of our treatment plans, we incorporate a rehabilitation regimen specifically tailored for the patient’s injury and lifestyle. Some of these exercises will be performed at home and some will be performed in the office in our rehab/personal training gym. This allows the body to heal functionally as well as structurally.
